About Eve

Who is Eve?
I am a writer, poet, photographer and drummer, but most of the time my main identity is an industrialized domestic engineer for my family. I do not know how to separate those titles as they wholly make me who I am. I serve as one of the drummers on our worship team at church. I am also in a Christian band called Laus Perennis, which is getting up and running more and more. We have put some music out on iTunes so check that out!

I love making quilts, and sewing has become a delightful pastime. On occasion I will bake and decorate a cake, however, I usually don’t eat them as I am on a health caravan and I’m changing the way I have lived, eaten and thought for most of my life.

My main motto is “if it isn’t productive, don’t bother with it”. I have spent too much of life just waiting for things to happen for me, and what I learned from that is I am the one who will make my life happen for me.

My first son is married and has given me a beautiful daughter-in-love whom I cherish. He is in college and I am excited to see where that takes him soon. My second son, is also married to a beautiful girl. He is creative and teaches me so much about peace and individuality that somehow I lost in the last several years, and he has made me into the best grandma in the world. I am learning to enjoy a very new stage in life being called Grandma. I have a third son who lives locally and he is enjoying his single life and just being who he is! I have a fourth son, who is presently studding at MIT in Boston, MA who I do believe will change some things for the better in our world in his future.

I love Jesus Christ and I do my level best to live every day for Him, through Him as I have committed my life 17 years ago to His every whisper, not mine. Yes, I may fail, I didn’t say I was God, I said I was committed to Him and I answer to Him, as He IS King of kings and Lord of lords. I am married to an “equally committed man of God”, who happens to be the most faithful and honest person I have ever met in my whole life (outside of Jesus). He is a musician and part-time worship leader at our church and I have realized I am extremely blessed to have such a handsome, hardworking husband and best friend in my life. He helped me get into a calling I didn’t realize I was to occupy in my younger years, which is playing drums. I don’t just play drums, I create a habitat for worship to my God. I praise God every day for my husband, he deserves a medal for battles he has helped me fight, as well as the life we have wared in together.

I have seen many things in my lifetime, I have experienced grievous tragedy and unfathomable joys, and I can tell you it took them both to be able to stand in these shoes. Come with me now to examine the footprints I have made.
